Volunteers are girls who work at Pax Lodge for 3 - 5 months. The positions are open to active members of WAGGGS, aged 18 - 25. Board and lodging are provided within Pax Lodge.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any assistance towards your travel expenses to and from Pax Lodge. You are responsible for arranging your own travel.
If you are invited to join the staff of Pax Lodge, you will need to check with your local British embassy or consulate concerning the need of a Visa. Pax Lodge will provide any necessary information.
You will need clothing to suit your own needs. Average temperatures vary but usually from October - April are around 30°F (-1C). Summer months are warm with temperatures reaching as high as 90°F (30C). Rain is not seasonal and occurs all year round. In winter you will need a heavy coat, sweaters, boots, etc.
Pax Lodge will provide a uniform of:
- 2 Pax Lodge polo shirts
- 1 pax Lodge Sweatshirt
- 1 pair of Pax Lodge Pants
You will need to bring your official Girl/Guide Scout uniform to wear on special occasions. You will also need a pair of sneakers/trainers (preferably blue, black or white).
You are responsible for arranging for medical insurance coverage. Please seek advice in your own country.
Please bring display materials to present programmes for our guests. You will often be asked to give presentations on your country. Sometimes you will be asked to cook some of your local meals.
Preferably 6 month prior to requested date.
