Accommodation

General information

Accommodation is available for individuals, families and groups. There are also a limited number of rooms available for long term residents. All guest accommodation is in single beds. We can accommodate up to 59 guests at one time. Our room allotment consists of:

Deposits

We require a deposit of one night's accommodation per person to hold a booking in pounds sterling. All deposits are non-refundable and may not be transferred to another date. Deposits can be paid by personal cheques in pounds sterling, money orders or bankers draft in pounds sterling, or by credit cards. Please note that if you pay by credit or debit card we will charge you 2.5% banking costs.

Accommodation payments:

If your group is 10 or more we do require the accommodation costs to be paid to Pax Lodge at least eight weeks prior to the date of arrival. If you are an individual or a group smaller than 10 then you can pay your accommodation costs when you arrive. Please note that if you pay by credit card we will charge you 2.5% banking costs. If you pay by debit card there will be no charge.


Useful information about Pax Lodge and the United Kingdom

Arrival and departure

Incoming guests will be accommodated between the hours of 14:00 and 17:00. Please advise us if you will be arriving at any other time. The main entrance is locked every night at 21:00. Please consult staff if you will be out later than this. On arrival each member of your party will be required to register.

For those people bringing groups of ten or more, please help us to reduce the amount of time spent checking-in by preparing a list of information prior to your arrival. Please include on this list the full names, full addresses, and nationality of each group member. For overseas guests please also include each person's passport number.

Check out time is 10:00 am on the day of departure. There is very limited space to store luggage.

Guest kitchen

A guest kitchen is located on the first floor for preparation, consumption and storage of food/drinks. Hot and cold drink and small snacks are available for purchase 24 hours a day in the dining room.

Meals

* Breakfast is available from 07:30 to 08:30

* Lunch is served at 13:00

* Dinner is served at 18:00

* Lunch and dinner must be ordered in advance.

* Coffee, tea, soft drinks and biscuits are available in the dining room.

* Packed lunches can be prepared for you if ordered in advance.

* If you would like an evening meal on the day of your arrival, please book at least one week in advance.


Other information



Long term Residents

Long term residents are young people, over the age of 18, who are members of WAGGGS who are living in London for the first time. Long term resident places are available for three to nine month periods for those either attending school or working. Accommodation for long term residents is in single rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. For more information or an application form, please contact the Office Manager.
